I would say buying a used AOD that was supposed to have been recently rebuilt. Then a year later when i finally got it in the car it was junk. Another side note, i bought it of someone on stangnet.

probly a Canadian Mustang.....even the "rust free" non winter driven cars here are not as nice as some from the "non winter" places
Plus friggin' one. If you have the most minor of stereo's, don't even think about it. Infact, unless you have some freak of an alerternator (HUGE! charging)....don't even think about them.

Back in 94 when I had my GT all of week, I went to the local speed shop and special ordered the famous "K&N FIltercharger Kit." As I waited the one week's time for it to come in I dreamed of how it would roast the tires in all gears once installed. I finally got the phone call I had been longing for: "Your K&N is in". I huried to the speed shop, forked over the $120 and rushed outside with the box in hand. Like a kid on Christmas I tore it open and then just stared in shock ... I said to myself "WTF, it's just an air filter?". I went back into the store and asked the guy if it was missing something since they pictured it with the MAF. The guy said "nope, it's just an air filter." 
I was even more mad when I installed it and realized it was a hot air intake. I would have made out better just hooking up my exhaust to my intake 
That and anything with the letters "BBK".

No he just has been through so many parts he knows what works and what dosent. So through his mishaps i made good choices. But the same friend converted me from Iroc camaros - foxbodied stangs..
