I have been researching my next upgrades of heads and cam. I am leaning towards the TFS Track Heat Twisted Wedge heads or the Edelbrock Vic Jr's, or AFR 165's.
All with 2.02/1.60 valves. Cam will be a decent choice to match the heads and my mods, the Wolverine 1087 was mentioned. 1.6 rockers will be used.
I will be using my stock rebuilt 302 block, with stock pistons. I am confused as to IF I need to flycut the pistons. I was told I had to no matter what head I chose if it was a 2.02/1.60 valve setup (actually by a local Mustang Shop), and I was also told that the TFS heads would not require it. I know every motor is slightly different, but who is running their stock pistons uncut with the above listed setups?????? Also any cam suggestions are appreciated also
