true blue GT.... what rims?

my buddy is looking to get some rims on his car. he is wanting some black DD bullitts. does anyone have pics of different rims on a true blue car? i think chrome would look the best but he thinks black will be hot. basiclaay if you have a true bule gt and aftermarket rims please post up some pics to help him out trying to decide what rims he wants.

okay seriously, I got my eye on this thread, keep the pics coming.

I'm leaning towards American Racing Rebel in chrome. From all the pictures I've poured over in the last month, True Blues look best with chrome/polished wheels imo. Mity2 and 007's cars always catch my eye.

To keep costs down I've considered 18" DD Bullitts. I don't like chrome Bullitts , and the Anthracites look too stock (aka there are a million stangs out there with them) so I was trying to picture black Bullitts on my car. Thanks to Shirolex I know that black will work, less bling than chrome, meaner looking I guess, and at about half the cost of Rebels something to consider. But I have a parchment top so black wheels may not match, you know, like how the ladies have to match the colour of their shoes with their purse

I think it's time for me to :Zip2: and just look at the pictures.

if you are considering the dark rim look with a lip you should do what I did.
I got soo curious to see what my car would look like and pics wouldnt cut it.
so I went to autozone and bought me some temporary paint. (PLEASE MAKE SURE ITS TEMP PAINT!!)
painted my wheels, cleaned the lip and blam!!
I fell in love with the "new" wheels
I drove the car like that for the weekend, took some pics then washed if off with soap.

I believe that they are 18 x 9 on the front rapped with 275's and 18 x 10 on that back rapped with 305's.....hope this helped
