"The Factor"

Thanks I might take ya up on that, actually I'd luv to take my truck up there though I just need to find a Offroad type air filter cover because im running a JLT intake witch consists of this huge S&B air filter with no box sitting on the top of my motor, the power with the SCT TUNE and JLT intake is incredible but im worried about the sand getting in the filter because its so fine, if it was dirt I wouldnt be as conserned but im sure they make a filter cover for it that I can get just gotta find it . Hey since your the "instigator" have you ever heard of RIZE lift kits ? There kinda costly but they look sweet and they make them in 6 , 8 or 10" I like the 8 inch . Do ya get any drive line vibration with taller lifts or anything I should be cautious about. Dont mean to change the subject but im getting ready for a trip to sand lake :D

rize makes good stuff, its spendy but its good stuff, I've lifted a few newer f150's with fabtechs 6 inch lift (wich will clear 37's btw) and with 35/12.50-18's it rode pretty damn good for a stock truck without driveline vibration. 8inches may be a different story though, it depends on the truck, usually shorter wheel base trucks have a problem with driveline binding or vibration because even with a small lift it puts the ujoints at a steep angle, alot of longbed trucks that you see lifted 8-10 even higher have no driveline vibration because the drivelines longer and isnt at as steep of an angle :) it all depends on what you want to do, personnaly I'd throw a 4 or 6 inch fabtech lift on there and do some 35's, you'll be taller than most other trucks around and you'll still have a good ride and you wont need a 5ft ladder to get in it :nice:

Thanks Jordan, maybe I should just stick with a 6 inch lift then, I like pro comp because one the of kits also gives you new coils in the front, but i'll check out fabtech to since I highly respect your opinion and experience :nice:

pro comps another good one, either way I dont think you can loose :nice: btw there is 2 different 6inch fabtech kits, one uses a lift spindle so you stay with the stock spring wich gives you the oe ride... the only thing I'd recomend is buying some aftermarket shocks like bilsteins or even the amx monotubes you can get at schwabs, because the foam shocks that come with the pro comp and fabtech kits suck. fabtech also has the 6 inch system with dirtlogic coilovers so you can adjust your ride height 2.5 inches and custom made shocks wich are damn good. :nice:

Dam that is a nice kit but if I priced it wright its 2500 and change and the the rize is about 2700 shipped with a brakeline relocater .... what do you think decisions decisions:shrug:
either way looks good :nice: the only downside I can think of to the rize is lack of nearby dealers should you have any problems, I think they only have 2 registered dealers in oregon, I know fabtech has quite a few here and at very least 400+ up and down the weastcoast :D
