What S/C to get???

superchargers are fun... :D

don't forget about prochargers. if price is a concern though i wouldn't even look into superchargers. they need a lot of money to get working. a tune for starters, boost guage, a/f meter or even better wideband sensor. the list goes on....

I love my Procharger and I have just now got the car running and haven't had a chance to get it tuned yet. I am still taken it REALLY easy because of my lack of a tune but I did stab the throttle last night and the boost gauge hit 5 psi instantly at 3,000 rpms and I let of, I was not even on the throttle for about a half second. It sounds awesome at idle and like a jet going down the road. I am however going to have to adjust my blow off valve because it flutters all the time and is really annoying. I can't wait to get this beast tuned and really get on it.

BTW, I got my D1SC used off the corral with 1500 miles on it for $2600. It was close enough that I just met up with the guy half way and inspected it before I bought it.

I don't have anything bad to say about my Vortech. It has performed very well. The kit fit very good, and it makes lots of power.

Now that I have said that, I am going to be ditching it for a Turbo. I just need to save up some cashola for the Dart Block and Turbo Kit. :D

Yup, The times in my Sig were from the one time I got to the track last year. That was my first time launching on the track with the Manual trans. I definately left some room for improvement.
I am getting about 10 PSI out of the Vortech on my setup. When I slapped the Methanol injection on there it made 497 rwhp at 5400 rpm. I only ended up going to 5400 because I screwed up the twEECer on the dyno and ended up with the stock rev limiter back on, so the guy stopped early.
Since then I have the rev limiter back to 6000, and I added a little timing into the tune. I would like to go back to the dyno after I put my electric water pump on this spring to see where I stand. I would imagine it should be above 500rwhp now. Good stuff...
