I was curious if anyone here has done these to their car lately? I don't recall a thread, maybe I missed it? I done mine this morning, cut out and installed and I can not stop grinning ear to ear folks. These are simply amazing, awesome, and by far well planned and thought out!

I will post some photos this evening when I get back from work. :spot:

Did you paint yours? I am curious about difficulty installing, painting, etc.
I have the rear panel form the company and it's great. I'm anxious to see photos and hear details.

In response to your post, no I had their painter do the work since these are kinda a one shot deal. They use your VIN # to match the paint code, and like they told me on the phone, if you dislike the color you can exchange them for an unpainted pair. I ordered mine in late last year, pre-order pricing and held off until my bodywork was done. I can not get over the end results, totally sets the car off the road now! My camera is charging so I can get some photos.

I had louvers and loved the look. That is an interesting concept, nice design element and a great solution for a broken 1/4 window as well for folks with a comprehensive deductible of > $250.

I am also anxious to see pics. :nice:

Notice these are quite useful in daily use. You will need to remove your original glass, local shop here $40 for both.

Folks these are contoured to your factory glass, matches the sheetmetal just like it came from the factory.

How does the car do with the wind now? Any wind noise? I have 2 concerns with these:

1. Road Noise
2. Water/Rain Leakage

Have you sprayed a hose over them yet to check water leakage?

Other than that, it is a sweet mod.

You got it installed for only $40. I read the instructions on Silver Horse's website. Sounded a bit intense for me. $40 sounds like a bargain. I already have Classic Design louvers but I am tempted to change.

Stan, I work hand in hand with all the local shops here since I do aftermarket installs and parts. We had to cut out the factory glass, used a electric knife versus the wire kit sold by the manufacture. I am working on some daytime and full car photos this afternoon. I was at a funeral this afternoon.

Dude, that looks killer!!!!! Can't wait for some daytime pics for sure!!!!! I do believe I'm ditching the Roush louver idea and going with Silver Horse!!!!!

ApexStang, using the proper adhesive they use for most auto glass, it should not leak after proper cure time.

$150 for a pair, they charge $149 for paint to match. I suggest you let them do the painting, worse case you can exchange them for a set unpainted if you do not agree with match of color. I will have photos on Sunday. I fell asleep and the sun has gone down here for the evening. Talk about a head turner folks, I drove down the road here this afternoon coming home and people were flippin'!

when i saw the original thread here about them (unpainted) i thought no way, thats not for me. after seeing them painted on your car, they look great.
