rear differential is shot

All V8 Mustangs since the mid-80's have had Posi...aka Traction-Lok. Both are a form of a limited slip differential. GM calls theirs Posi-traction (aka Posi) while Ford calls it "Traction-Lok" (T-lok for short). They are basically the same thing.

My buddies 91 LX Notch didnt. He had the one wheel peel when doing a burnout. My 93 Notch did have Trac Lok

T lok doesnt last long if you drive your car hard often..ive rebuilt mine twice in 3 years..

Well put it this way. When it left Ford in 1991....it had it.

They wear out, especially if you do a lot of burnouts.


My '88's t-lok still works fine
