This is the driver's side mount, the stock ones look like the bolt is in the center but on these it looks like the bolt is on the top??? is that how they are?? will this lower or raise the engine??

Yeah drivers side front most bolt for my car then to the frame rail.

Thanks for the refresh guys..I guess that means it can go anywhere but now I seem to remember a strap going from the front of the engine to the frame below the battery area (stock location I guess). Thanks for the reminders!

:OT: It's a double edge sword getting a few weeks break between "remove and then "replace" ... I did take pictures though lol..hope it helps me.

I don't remember what brand but they looked identical to the ones in your pics. If the car is there with the engine, take one off and check to make sure the little tit is in the right spot for that side. I remember having to change mine when I put the engine back down.

So will i have issues with these mounts??? will the driveshaft still fit ok if they set the engine back?? they are supposed to be like the convertible mounts, how much do vert mounts lower the engine?? will i have issues with my bbk L/T's hitting the ground?? My car is a vert by the way in case the k-members are different.

My new mounts raised my engine slightly. I just figured it was the difference between the old worn out rubber in the stock mounts, compared to the new polyurethane.

http://www.blueovalindustries.com/products.php?pid=592 - bought them through ebay for a bit cheaper if I remember right.

I moved my battery to the trunk and put a bigger alternator on the car. The bigger alt required a larger cable, so I used the old one to make TWO ground straps for the car. I put one on each side. :D
