think I am getting a notch this weekend

I could part it out and make a few bucks if I want...I am also getting a mint trunk lid with the car (extra one he has) but the one that is on it he said needs some fixin...........but my dad is a body man so that shouldn't be a big deal.

if i were you, id just de-rust it and leave the paint as is. i think gnarly beastly stangs with patina look awesome

just talked to him tonight and he says it drives awsome. I just neet to bring a battery and my boss is lending me his dealer plate and I can drive it home (45 minutes away) cant wait to see the condition...it will be a few year progect I am sure to make it like the black coupe above.

should I go with a carbed SBF or a 4cyl turbo

bought it today....going to get it and bring it home next sunday. needs some body work maby some new doors and front fenders to be done right but not too bad. it will just be a track and maby the odd street drive car so I might not be too worried about making it mint. The interior is nice and clean and the ashtray door and arm rest lid still latch lol.

oh yea I paid $250 CDN
I bought a mint trunk lid also for $100
he gave me a mint set of extra coupe 1/4 windows with the car..well one is mint the other has a little dry texture to it but not bad at all
and he even gave me a ford emblem for thr hatch of my GT for nothing and it looks like new...mine fell apart at the car wash lol

I need ideas for a biuld here...and maby some paint ideas

lets hear em

dsg grey bottom titanum silver top..two tone it.....

i like the 351W idea..i say port the stock heads valve job...intake and carb and throw it in the car...

OR

if you want to spend some money on the engine..my vote is for a fuel injected 408W with H/C/I

wont be EFI.....carbed will be easier to do and if I go EFI I would want MAF....and if I do MAF it would be on my 88GT.

I like the looks of that black and burnt orange coupe that I have seen on here before...I think I made it in his sig for saying "Fastest Looking Stang Ever" lol

well I brought it home today...drove it about an hour home and it worked prety good. The interior is actually very clean The arm rest lit latches the ash tray lid still works and the map light even works lol The seats don't have the Gangsta lean and the dimmer switch works (mine on the GT dont) and all the little armrest plugs are there (my GT has only one or 2 left lol) The one thing I found wrong with it is the kick down dosn't work I think he said something about the clip for the cruise cable broke and maby that effects the kick down...I'll look into that some time. I might fix it up and leave it a 4 cyl for a little bit and than start tearing it down to build.
First I will put it up on the hoist to see what I got to work with and go from there. If it is rotten I will likely part it out.
