How much power is too much power..??

Hey Fellow stangers....I was just wondering how much Horsepower can a stock 2000 GT's Crankshaft, Connecting Rods, and Pistons take before I either bend a connecting rod, put a piston through a head, or unfortunately put a hole in the oil pan...?lol. Thanks.

All the weak parts are the same so in stock form there is no difference.

I believe the most common weak part is the rods. They tend to come flying off at a very bad time.

Some are lucky and put down 500whp with no problem. It's a gamble. Keep it under 450, and you'll be fine. Just make sure the AFR stays at 11.8 all the way to red line. Tuning is KEY!
