So, my boy is sitting 14th. I'd like to see Smoke kiss a brick; however, my gut is telling me it just may go to Sorenson, K. Busch or Mears this year. We shall see.

I have a couple hours to to be productive and wash the TA. Then the TV and I have a 1:00 date for the remainder of the day. :D Enjoy the race fellas. :nice:

I have JR as my pick this week but as always Im pulling for #20 :nice:

:nice: Jr. just made a nice pass before 12 spun. Jr. is looking strong. It would be nice to see him win one, especially @ IMS.

Looks like the rubber is laying down well as the track temp increases. The tires may hold for more than 6 lps now.

A'ight... back to Bed & the race. :D Gotta love the weekends.

quite the crash fest going on today. Some big names going out. Good news is that some of the guys crashed who other people in the pool picked :nice: for once its not me getting shafted.

DAMN IT Red... Your boy lost another engine. :( Too many engine failures this season. Poor SOB. SUCKS.

YEAH... BABY.... WE ARE KISSING A BRICK.

Awesome Race. Now I can relax. :nice:

Happy nanner dance time

Last 3 weeks the driver I have picked has either crashed or blown up. Its been like that for me all season. Im done with the pool for this year.

I NEVER play the pools. It is really a crap shoot each race. Too many variables other than driver skill.

There is a delay in the broadcast, it's like a five second delay. ESPN is the same crew as ABC and TNT missed it when Kyle Petty said the F word on the radio during the broadcast. Don't worry he'll get a fine and penalized points for his colorful use of language.

That was radio though, this was TV. I know in the NFL if Im at work and the game is on the radio and also on the TV the play is over on the raido while the ball is being snapped on TV

Not the broadcast radio. It was over Petty's car radio. Kyle Petty was the in car reporter like Jr. was today. He was involved in a wreck and when the TV guys went to him for a comment he was in the middle of saying "What the F*** was that" to his crew and the TV guys had to apologize for the language.

But its cable tv though, there really shouldnt be a fine. But then again it is Tony Stewart. As long as no one make a big deal of it it'll be fine. Its not like he was saying "bull****" about something nascar did, its because he was happy he won the race.

And if loses anypoints/money b/c of it, its bull****

They fined Jr. two years or so ago for saying the same thing after he won a race. So, since they fined Little E, they'll definitely be fining Stewart. It might even be a bigger fine since he seemed to think about before he said it.

Thats one thing I never liked about the fines in Nascar. When someone commits an offense on the track then yes take points. But points are earned for how you preform on the track, not your post race interview. What you do while out of the car when the race is over should have no effect on how you preformed on the track as far as the points you earned. That should be where just fines are a factor.
