Im about to buy some tomorrow, and since i havent bought any sets of springs recently, im kinda out of the loop as far as who has them at a good price.

Thanks in advance for any help :nice:

If it happens to be in an auction link, you can PM it to me as to not get the thread closed for sales.

EDIT: crap... can someone change the title to read " EIBACH PRO KIT SPRINGS" instead of the sportlines please.. :)

Well, to be totally honest I didnt see any difference in them in corralation with my ET in the 1/4. You mite just wanna get a pair of 4 banger springs up front then get some Strange 10 way adjustable shocks & struts! It would be alot cheaper.

Mine are 2 years old so Im kinda out of the loop to about prices.

Pro Kit/Sportlines are going to be more for handling....not for drag racing. You wanna look into their drag springs if you want to improve your ET.

I'm actually about to cut a little off my back coils because after 3 years it's still got a raked stance to it and i hoped it would've leveled out by now.

Well my deal is that i had the motor out of the car for so long, that the springs are now un - sprung. with the motor in it, it sits like an inch higer than stock.

If i went with the 4 cyl springs, do you think that would clear my 18x8 wheels ?

I think some clarification should be made on whether you want the lowering pro kit or the drag kit.

4 banger springs suck, unless of course you like feeling like your car could fly off the road on any turn.
And i speak from experience, i tried them.

I forgot about those. Not sure. I will get some close ups for you tomorrow of the clearance with the front wheel. My daughter wasted my batteries so I'll buy some tomorrow.

I want a minimum amount of rake to the car, and i planned on buying adjustable struts later on. Ill be street driving it and id rather not have to fight with it to go around corners if possible. If the drag kit lowers the car about the same, and gives a better launch, ill go with those, but if they dont lower it at all, i think ill go with the lowering pro kit.

thanks man, i forgot to save theones you posted :(

FBD,
Here is my car with pro kit and 18X9's. No rubbing issues. Also, your springs that are in there will settle again. My fromt control arms bind horribly when jacked up and then first bump I hit they drop right back down where they were.

Pic is with the 4 old tires and wheels in the back hatch.......

I think I picked my pro kit stuff up on ebay new for about 170 clams.

Petey,
The sportlines drop your car more than the pro kit. I think the pro kit dropped my car about 1.25" front and rear.

:nice: :nice: :nice: Thanks man, thats the stance im looking for. i made a thread about this a while back and couldnt find it...

By the way, for anyone following this, the cheapest i found the pro kit yesterday was from www.tirerack.com at $209.00. no shipping since i live next to a tire rack warehouse :nice:

Sportlines are more of a race spring and the pro kit is more for a street car. The sportlines are going to pretty much slam your car....which isn't necessarily what you want for drag racing.

I paid 60 bucks shipped off a guy on FEP..

well call him and see if he has any more :D

Yeah i dont want the car slammed, and i figure that when i get the track to the car, ill get adjustable shocks and struts to help compensate for street driving and track days
