I don't know about your roots blower, but I know Kenne Bell says you can run fuel through their blowers. I guess it would come down to whether or not the rotors are coated?
I would only use Seafoam or any top engine cleaner if you are having problems and have exhausted all other possible causes.
IOW as a last resort.
And this is for a NA car.
I know some people swear by the stuff, but personally all that goes into my motors are fuel, oil, coolant and air.
I'll run an occasional bottle of Techron once in a while but that's it.
I did use a can of GM top engine cleaner on my Caprice once at about 200k because it had carbon buildup and was pinging.
It worked and the car is now approaching 500k miles and running fine on original engine and tranny.
I would never use the stuff routinely though, only as a last resort.
