Stang broke down on me today. Got towed home with my triple A. Man i have really gotten my moneys worth this year. Car just started bucking and then heard a loud screech and then the car died. It turns over fine but wont start. According to my wideband there is fuel there when i crank it so im guess its spark related. I have an MSD dizzy, Performance distributors coil and ignition module. So im sure its one of those pieces of crap took a dump. Man i hope this is an easy fix the stang has been running so good. :( :notnice:

Just switched to AAA from Allstate. I'm paying about $120 less for more insurance. And they don't usually try to mess around with you when you're in an accident. Allstate tried to undervalue my Stang when I was in an accident, and tried to total it out. I had to fight them to prove the Stang was worth about four times their estimate. Then they agreed to fix it.

My mom just has AAA roadside or something like that. Its basicly JUST for tows.

She pays like 100$ for a year. Gets free tows and for family she gets discounted tow rates and so many miles free.

I am going to get it on all 3 of our cars as for the price its worth it even if it never gets used, Esp. for the wife's peice of mind and it would be nice for the mustang if it ever breaks.

Oh yes...used it many a time on the $)#&$*#$#@!)&* Mustang.

Best story was when I broke down on the highway, hobbled to a rest stop before complete death, and ran into a nice AAA truck operator who was taking a break but jumped right up to bring me home about 80 miles. Didn't have to call or wait for that one :nice:

Yea, that's what I have and yes they limit the tows. Ask what the number is, I know a couple years ago it was 3 or 4 in a year. Or maybe that may have been for tows over a certain amount of miles. No idea, as all of mine were long hauls!

Yea I got mine after my clutch explosion, lol. (unfortunatly) But its awesome for peice of mind. Especially because I love driving the stang on nice long roadtrips. And discounts on hotels and rentals. Speaking of which I am long overdue, been a few months since a road trip. Probably take one labor day to mt.dora to visit my mother and then to sea world.:D Time to see if I can finally kill my nice highway of 28mpg. I want to shoot for 30!!!:D

Its great. We have the same thing up here but its called CAA, for $100 CAD I get 150-mile towing, 4 gal. of gas, 1 free tire repair, and a bunch of other stuff. I had to use it for the first time a few weeks ago when my PIP took a dump heading towards a highway on-ramp. I'm heading on a 1000-mile road trip in about 9 days, and with the Cobra brakes, its nice to know I can get towed for free if I get a flat tire, since the baby spare is no longer good for anything. Or if the stock fuel pump decides to quit.
