87 tilt column in 91 gt

can i put a tilt steering column from an 87 into a 91? will i loose the airbags?

yes you can and yes you will lose the airbag.

I had an airbag wheel mouted on a tilt column.. I say try it and see if it works..

They took the tilt away in 90 because they added the air bag. They did that dumb move to keep the price down on the fox body.

I still don't get it though, they made an entirely different column, instead of just keeping the existing one and adding a different wheel.
