WHOAH Buddy, I realize that you are a Moderator but this is the first time that you have ever been in this section to my knowledge. This forum is all about the fun, if you can not separate yourself from the conversation you do not need to be moderating in here. You are a moderator but NOT in this forum, so when I am confronting you I am confronting a member that is posting in this section. I have checked the mods for this section and you are not listed. In that case you are overstepping the bounds in my eyes. I have all the respect for a Moderator but you are coming into a section that you are not listed as a mod and weilding the stick. If i didnt bother to look at your avatar I would not have known that you were a mod. If you wish to mod this section then be kind to us the members and get placed on the list and we will then know that you are a mod for here and that when you are posting you are posting AS a mod and not AS a member. I have assumed until now that all of your posts have been as a member because you are not listed as a mod in this section. I am not saying that you do not deserve respect, I am saying it is not fair to us as members that you can come in here and mod this section without having the experience to know what the Norm is in here.
You are a pats fan and from the beginning you have been taking this personally and we all can see that. You are overstepping your bounds here because of your PERSONAL feelings. In your post you clearly state that its YOUR OPINION, You need to take a step back and look at your own actions here before going off on the members.
The mods in this section are: hungrymonkey, Kraw, Uncle Meat, COramprat
Coramprat, please have a talk with him and clear this up. You know what this section is about and Heck if Redline and I can go back and fourth in our chats in Football and heated arguments then others can grow thicker skin also.
Redline will tell you all, He and I for the first 2 years almost got banned, thread closed, threatened and more. We paved the way for Smack Talk to happen in this forum. Go back and re-read the first two years and see what I mean if you never read it, or were a part of it. This kind of thing IS WHY some of us come back year after year to this forum.
I am sorry that I have not participated here more this season but my son is playing football and it is taking a lot of my time this season. He is doing very well (Plays for the Titans, Yess it kills me to see that) but I come in here and read and see things here and there.
This really bothers me though because of how it played out so far. I hope that this will resolve itself soon because this is a NFL discussion and all things that pertain to it. So what if a team was caught CHEATING, We know that it was not the first time they did it and it wont be the last time they do it, more over they are not the only team that cheats. I am not saying all teams, coaches cheat but its a sport and everyone is looking for an advantage. We are men that watch it, we dont play in the NFL and if anyone is taking this that personally then they need to look at them self and ask them self WTF?
If I recieve a Ban for this, then my point is proven, If a conversation begins because of this I will be glad that I have been heard by the Mods as an active member that comes here daily to post. I have posted far worse things than this post and have had good, level headed conversations with mods before and I believe that one mod in particular and I get a long better because of our joint PM's I really think that ALL involved needs to step back and think before anyone posts again or takes any action on something that may have been avoided in the first place.

I have many many more examples to go. I am perfectly willing to debate " cheating" for the rest of the year.
. The PM function is a wonderful thing though to save your ass from teh bant stick.
