well u all can talk bout the camera chit all ya like but i for one am damned ready for the greenbay and detroit thanksgiving day game it's gonna be a good matchup and i predict alot of points to be scored.

Thats the thing, no one will know how little or how much it did help.

how could it help at all when the video recorder was taken in the 1st quarter and I doubt the jets would have kept their defensive signals the same after half time anyway, no team does.

How can you go from taking video in the 1st quarter, having it taken before the the quarter was even up and being able to use what very little they probably got as an advantage to win that game.

Regardless the Patriots have been under a microscope since then b/c everyone thought they cheated. Well now they are stuffing the ball down every ones throat to prove they are who they appear to be.

Do you really expect Belichick to not want to beat every team into submission after being accused of cheating all along and for super bowls? There is two sides to running up the score. One being to pound it into the entire team that you must play 60 mins of football in order to beat the colts. THEY HAD TO DO THAT TO BEAT THEM A FEW WKS AGO. So every game is treated the same. Second as a bit of revenge for everyone shooting off saying they are all cheaters.

I think he meant the effect it had on prior games from before they got caught. From what I have heard from people who should know is that it's used by teams to try and figure out tendencies when they call certain plays. Kind of like how a poker player looks for something the other guy does to tip off his hand.

Teams still do this, they just don't record from the sidelines. This is why teams use three alternating signal callers.

A lot of underhanded stuff goes on in these games it really is kind of part of the game. These coaches look for even the slightest edge for many of them even a very very slight edge is worth getting caught.

Personally I think the NFL covers up a lot of stuff they find out and it don't become public.

As far as it being cheating...sure nobody knows how much it helped or didn't help them. But here is the definition of cheating from dictionary.com

Everyone didnt think they cheated, they did cheat. It was proven by the league and both the coach and team were fined for it.

I know you guys are patriot fans but you can look outside your fan goggles to see the truth once in a while.

I dont blame the Pats for running it up, its not their fault other teams except Indy cant stop them. Hell Id rather the Colts coaches have more of that killer instinct.
