Looking for a retro/aftermarket part

I was wondering if anyone has seen a part available for 65-6 Mustangs. I was looking at this pair of '87 spindles that I have and thought to myself how nice it would be to put them on a '65 without having to use the "Fatman" coilover kit to install them. It would be nice to have a bracket that would bolt in place of the strut and at the top of it bolt to the stock upper balljoint. Anyone seen anything like this ?

the 4.0 v6 is a descendent of the old 2.8 v6 from the mercury capri and mustang II from the 70's. i think there was a front sump pan for one of those but can't remember for certain. if you can find one it might work

I already looked into that, it throws the ackerman 45 degrees or more off, I dont think the car would be driveable if you did(although presumably with a 1.75" UCA drop you could use mustang II spindles which are front steer)

Ackerman angle was my concern on swapping spindles. M II is the back-up plan and was aware that I would have to lower the UCA's. I am using a fox body rearend so the wheel pattern is the same. Plotting the access hole through the lefthand shock tower brace for steering column access shouldn't be too difficult. I thought if a bracket could be made to use the fox body spindles would be great because they are in fairly abundant supply. I made a rough drawing this weekend for the part and a jig to "reverse engineer" the part. I'll let ya'll know how thst goes. In the meantime I'll use the M II spindles. I think the rotors are just a little smaller than Fox and use the M II wheel cyl diminsions, pro valve and MC and it all should work OK. Thanks for the input !
