Battery cables for relocation. And Other Questions???

Well since no one responded to my PM'S

I decided to go with 1/0 cable I got 15ft pos. and 5ft of neg. and another #4 of neg to run from the battery ground(chassis) to the front either block or stock battery grund. And I also and using the connectors that were reccomended by matt.

There is a fancy little tool used for those connectors. I used the same ones and a buddy had the tool, so I borrowed it. You basically put the connector and wire in it, then hit it with a BFH.

I was going to solder them in.

Solder them. Heat the connector with a propane torch, fill it with solder, and shove the wire into the hot solder. Better connection, less resistance.

Yeah, yeah... there's that way too.

BTW - I would heat the wire just a bit as well.

I had one connection I had to put on after the wire was run. Makes it a bit tougher when you don't have a lot of slack, so order extra wire if you can afford it.
