i didnt read the whole thread, but i have to say FORD is pissing me off. i think a 5.0 will be my last and only love from them my blue blood is just having a harder time supporting them. after the firestone buisness(them including lawsuits and death into their budget just to save money by using those tires) and a couple other things, theyve lost the values in which they were founded

That's one of the most laughable things I've ever read. Henry Ford was one of the most cut-throat businessmen in the history of this country who was willing to step on anyone he had to to make a buck.

Only one Ford badge on my car, and if it were up to me it would be gone...

By the way it's actually a black oval not a blue oval, so technically... no real Ford badges on mine .

I don't and won't have one on my car. I love the Mustang and a lot of Ford's heritage but lately i've come to feel ashamed of being a Ford man. They've really lost touch with the point of "Ford Motorsport".

Um...my history is a bit foggy but didn't the Spanish bring horses to Northern America? They're not native to the country if memory serves me right...

I monitor several webpages on behalf of Ford and I hope you don't mind me posting a comment here. The calendar issue was a misunderstanding and it has been resolved. Ford does not intend to alienate any enthusiasts clubs and that's why we moved quickly to clear the air. Correctamundo. BUT, they were called Mustangs BEFORE Ford named the Mustang.

I am glad that got resolved. Just curious if Ford is still going after retailers with the name "mustang" in them such as mustangs plus, mustangs unlimited, etc... or is that a non-issue now too. I was pretty heated after hearing about that....
