Eleanor had a safe journey via a sloppy, snowy, slippery trailer ride to Chicago World of Wheels. Been scrambling getting the car together and all prim and propper for some Chicagoan googlin n droolin..

I think she's come together real well..

Yup, hood will be open, might be only half way, not sure.. Took the shots after locking the car up so the chicagoan vulchers don't take my crap..

Kool, The lighting there makes the car so black you can't even see the body kit contours, it's pretty serious down there with the lighting.. Your right it almost looks white in photos, but it's definately silver in person..

I hear ya about them taking your sh**... I would be so paranoid if my car was down there...I couldn't even walk around and enjoy the rest of the show. I would be sitting like right in front of it..."Don't frickin touch the car!" :nono:

Congrats goes to Erin and all his hard work...just found out he took best in show for his class!!! :nice:
Went yesterday and have to say there were a lot of killer cars there. Some people just have way to much money! :rlaugh:

Thanks fellas, beat out a 08 GT500 in the class that was an extremely nice car built by Massive Performance.

As Heavy said, there were some insanely expensive toys down there, My output with cost of car is literally a very small fraction of what some people have spent.

Overall a great experience, a lot of hard work though, for 5 minutes of fame..

Hey Erin, glad to see you beat out "The Cobra Dude"! What a complete douche bag! I noticed he had a little strobe light on top of his blower. Maybe that gives him 650 rwhp. What BS! I wish I took a pic of him to post here. :rlaugh:

Glenn, I had a bunch of Chicago SVT guys stop up on Sunday, and apparently "Cobra Dude" is a serious heavy hitter not only in the street race world, but on the drag strip as well. Many of the guys talking to me have their cars well into the 10's and won't even mess with the guy.

His display was horrid, don't get me wrong. However, his bad taste for shows apparently does not go hand in hand with his driving skill. Which was a huge surprise to me once I heard..

NO FRICKIN' WAY!!! THAT GUY?
Well I guess it just goes to show - you never know. That guy had stickers on the rear quarter panels and glitter all over the engine bay.
