Hi everyone! I am a Mustang enthusiast myself, but this question is in reference to a car my neighbor just bought.

It is an 85 GT with 90,000 miles on it, one owner, in extremely clean condition. It truely looks nearly new. Has power door locks and windows, etc. It has the Saleen Riken wheels and still has the Saleen tires (though they are probably starting to dry rot). It has only had 1400 miles on it since 1996. I think my husband called it a "Saleen Clone".

It has just been sitting in the guy's garage, so he finally decided to sell it. The neighbor paid $3500 for it, but we feel that is is probably worth double that amount.

Any ideas?

Welcome to :snsign:

If it's as clean as you say, it could be possible to get double out of it finding the right person who just wants to keep a clean, unmolested, 85. However, doesn't sound all that special imo.

Pictures of said car and yous

He bought it as an everyday driver. It seems a shame to put so many miles on it, with it being in the condition its in and having such low miles. And he is driving a paid-for Accord. I think I'd keep driving the Accord just for the gas mileage, but he's going to sell it.

I know its none of my business!

Here's my Mustang - it was just an 01 V6. I sold it about two years ago.

Other pic is my current car - 05 Cadillac STS with the Northstar V8. I loved my Mustang, but this one has it beat!

We'll get some pics of neighbor's car and I'll post them.
