Why are kids so F'n dumb??!!!!

I think it could be summed up to say that most kids these days are half retarded when it comes to cars. It only gets worse as these forums pop up all over the place with people that have little to know experience and less of a clue how things actually work. It's sad...

The kids now are pretty bad when it comes to cars, some kid on the Escort forums asked, "What is this button in the middle of the dash that doesn't do anything for?'' He was talking about the rear defrost button.

The answer is 18-19 psi on S1 injectors, or 21-22 if you run a returnline.

As for SRT4s, I got the junior version. I like it much better..all the power (and more), none of the negative attention :D

strtrcr50, I honestly am sorry to hear about your car. Sure we've had our disagreements, but I never wish harm or loss of property.

I have the same issue with dudes on most S-10 forums. It's like they can't fathom why I don't want to keep the 3" body lift and throw some giant honkin' muddin' tires on there, or why I don't have any planes to put an airbag suspension on there and notch the rear so I can "be layin' frame, yo." The S-10 community (at least on the sites I've been to) is almost exclusively immature 16-25 year old gangsta wannabes and/or rednecks that give everyone crap that doesn't either jack up or thug out their truck. It's a freakin' DAILY BEATER TRUCK, not a show piece! :fuss:

There's a few folks on there with some genuine mechanical how-to knowledge, and they're usually pretty level-headed about it all. But the percentage of smart-mouths, crappy attitudes, screwed up priorities, and tasteless mods is totally disproportionate to the number of sane individuals. These are the kind of guys that will spend thousands on stereo and air-ride equipment, but make all of their electrical connections by twisting wires together and taping them, or spend $2,000+ on a set of 22" rims but will cheap-shot everything else from basic maintenance to safety equipment (seatbelts, brakes, etc.) :notnice:

i dont know why kids these days are so stupid, but im really sick of it. Im 21 and i hate about 90% of my generation. bunch of worthless drunken retards who want everything handed to them from mommy and daddy. when i see someone at my school with flip flops, super baggy cargo shorts, a pink polo, an ipod, an energy drink in one hand and his cell phone in the other, and his hat sideways or cocked to one side or flat-brimmed, i just wanna shoot em. we dont need that in the gene pool.

Ever seen idiocracy?

hey torx, you took the words out of my mouth. i know how you feel. and imagine how it is here in miami. capital of fake little preppy rich kids. i believe in working for your stuff, and doign it yourself when possible. Thats being hardcore!

Just curious as to why you prefer the Mach over a Termi? I mean I love Machs and lust for one but if prices were equal why the Mach?

BTW I am a true car guy and like all kinds of cars. I have modified over 20 of my rides and have had just about everything except a Honda, Lambo or anything exotic other than a couple regular Porches and a Ferrari Mondal 8 :ack: So im not bashing even though I like to give some of our members a hard time :p

To be honest, the Mach 1s 1/4 windows are sexier (yes they are different :D), and I actually HATE the fact that everyone and their brothers mothers cat swings off Terminators nuts. I mean I love how fast they are, can be, what they sound like etc... but I just dont want to follow the crowd and be like everyone else.

If it came down to it, give me a Mach 1 ANY day over the Termi, but I'm weird! :D

lol well, the crowd follows the termi cuz its a sexy as hell car and sounds awesome and looks awesome and is plain secksy :D

mach ones arent much faster than a stock gt. the termi's are way faster than both. and besides, how could you deny the godly supercharger whine?

I dont know man, I sure as hell wouldnt ever sell a car based on poor experiences I've had with an online forum. If Stangnet turned to crap, I'd wave my middle finger and remove it from my favorites, not sell my car.

In my experience, some of the worst attitudes from car owners I meet are mustang people. Half the time, I dont even like talking to Mustang guys unless I know them personally. All in all, I'd probably keep the SRT-4. I'd surgically remove my own testicle for a Cobra, but I sure as **** wouldnt want to DD one, however, I'd sport an SRT-4 daily.

I don't think it's the message forums, per se, that are his primary motivation for wanting to ditch the car - it's the actual people, themselves, and the "culture" surrounding Neons and similar cars that are the big turn-off.

I've had the same experience with F-Body owners, back when I used to be hardcore about Firebirds/Trans Ams. Too many mullet-heads with bad attitudes that felt it necessary to try to race me at every stoplight or start crap with me. And with S-10's, every other one you see out in these parts is either a ghetto-rigged lowrider hooptie with a monster stereo driven by a white thug wannabe or it's a jacked-up desert rat, rock-crawling, WTF-do-you-do-with-wheels/tires-that-big behemoth, and in either case they regard anyone with a stock truck as being stupid and/or trash for keeping it stock and well-maintained, and just DRIVING the thing.
