for your enjoyment, another burnout video

Burnout's = illegal activity on public roads. If we are going to shut down threads related to street racing, we should shut down the burnout videos that aren't taken at a track under authorized supervision.

Here in the state of Arizona a burnout is MORE illegal than a criminal speeding ticket. It will constitute 12 violation points (8 are all you need to lose your license), cost you nearly $500 in fines, and have your car impounded for 30 days.

Plus these people are video taping themselves creating evidence that can be used against them in court. A local "hero" here in Arizona got the police after him because of a youtube video he posted of him travelling at 217mph on a public highway. He didn't even show his license plate, they tracked him down through IP addresses and Youtube account.

If we're going to pop one bubble on the bubble wrap, we may as well put it on the floor and jump on it. It's more fun that way.

I say we stick to talking about recipes and aftermarket parts that are street legal. Otherwise O/R pipes may be considered an illegal activity too, because it is punishable by law to remove the catalytic converters from a car.

Are you trying to ruin it for everyone? most burnouts posted are off city property, like in parking lots and driveways. While a criminal speeding ticket may be less where you live, I guarantee doing a burnout in an alley is a slap on the wrist compared the multitude of fines/jail time you could receive for street racing. But how about we not argue this. Because if it goes farther than it has, then we will have to outlaw that, too. You're being sarchastic, but to an outsider, it looks like you don't want to see this type of thing on the board. We've got plenty of rules, most of which make this a better board. Please don't make us add another one.

Oh, I see now...

If more than one person thinks something is cool then it's okay to have on the forums.

I personally think that burnouts are stupid if not done specifically to heat an off-road tire to proper grip temperatures. I can honestly say that I have never done a burnout off the track, because it's just too much damage to a driveline, and to the tires.

Parking lot or not, if a cop drives by expect a ticket.

While I don't want to turn this forum into a sewing circle, I just think that there are lines being drawn with clear ink, so they are not so easy to see.

Plus I'm bored. crapola

Just for the record i was never told to send my post in a PM, i decided to do that on my own. not that the MOD ever answered it back. IN stead I got all kinda of answers from others??

then that thread was locked before i could respond to any of the mods post...apparently they don't like any debating of a topic.
It's their way or the highway (as long as it isn't illegal activities on a highway)

Skunk, if you're not getting your answer, feel free to PM Tim (Timeless2) or Bigcat or myself and we'll be glad to answer any questions that you may have.

I'm not going to discuss the rest of what was said about burnouts, but again, any questions, feel free to PM any of us. This board is not an open forum to discuss how the forum is operated, it's an open forum to discuss Mustangs. If you have concerns about the board, PM a moderator, or post a message in the Feedback section of the website. :nice:

Giving head is illegal in some states too but you don't see anyone giving you a hard time here, do you?
