line lock question.

I have a hurst line lock, i like it and it works awesome but was a pain to install and didnt come with everything. ( there were two stupid little fittings that it didnt come with and there were a bunch of extra fittings i didnt need) basically its designed for a variety of vehicles. it did however come with good directions and noted the 2 fittings i had to buy somewhere else

i have 275/40 r17's on 9" cobras, no rubbing, but its close on the tailpipes

Heres a vid of my line lock being put to good use

order a hurst kit from latemodelrestoration.com ROLL CONTROL KIT, HURST, W/O ABS, INCLUDES ROLL CONTROL, FITTINGS AND LINES MUSTANG.

89_lx is right, the hurst kit doesn't include some pretty important things. 50resto.com, now latemodelrestoration.com has put together the hurst kit along with all the little fittings and brake lines you need.

I have the hurst kit and never had a problem.

I also ordered a hurst shifter with button so that is what use to control the line lock (roll control).

i have a hurst also. i dont have the car running but i have a 9in in the car with a spool and 3in per side in and a bbf 547 ci. im going to be running a 28x10.5 slick. people with my heads and ci motor are running high 8s low 9 in the 1/4 on motor. i have areospace drag brakes so i hope they can stop the car to burn out and just a 3.5 front tire

before u talk **** maybe u should know what u r talking about too. every thing i said is true so. SMOKEDYA go take you smoking car to the track and run a 14 sec 1/4. my block, crank, rear end, heads are more than what u have in your 14 sec car:rlaugh::rlaugh:

Thats a nice looking engine bay. You have a big hole in the center of the engine there.... Is that where you plum in the 45 gallon drum of gasoline? lol. Looks good. Bet that will be one scary ride at the track. I wish I had gone with a 460 when I did my swap. I guess the 351w will just have to do.
