Hope the Steelers hold them off here. 10-6, Steelers ball about 3:30 left. Ben looks like he's hurting.
Steelers really dodged a bullet only giving up a FG there.
Well... He seems to be a little scared to throw a pick to me. He is going to have to take some chances. he did come real close on that big pass to moss..
Overall not too bad for a first start.. Now we have to remember this is the exact same team brady set NFL records with last season, compared to that so far the drop off is HUGE..

They seriously could not beat the patriots without brady.. LOL at the jets and all the fools that thought 3,800 year old farve was going to be the savior..

I don't know about Ben's shoulder. They asked him three separate questions post game about it and he commented on his O-Line every time.

He's tough but I don't know, his shoulder was already separated and then that fat ass they kept calling "Big Baby" hit him late (no flag) and he got up favoring it pretty good.

I've been hearing people chanting "J-E-T-S! Brett! Brett! Brett!" lately.. so what did I say after the game? "P-A-T-S! Matt! Matt! Matt"..
I find it funny that the Jets went out and spent all that money on defense and the O-line, then got Favre.. then the Pats lose Asante Samuel, Eugene Wilson, Randall Gay, Colvin and BRADY.. and still beat the Jets

What was supposed to be Favre's homecoming and the shift in power today when the Jets were supposed to beat down the Pats went all wrong.. No shift in power, the Jets are still the Jets.. and the Pats keep on winning as a team

after brady went down i lowered my season goal to finishing ahead of the rats (jets) so far it's going well..
But they need to get more out of the offense when they play actual good teams.. Cassel needs to build confidence I did not like how he seemed scared to throw the ball for awhile there.
I agree. I was really down about how well the season would go, but I started to believe there was enough talent around him that they could win the division if he doesn't self-destruct.. I stand by that one for sure, I think they can win 10 or 11 with their schedule. I don't expect them to beat the Chargers, Colts, or Steelers.. but I hope they put up a good fight.
It may be a good thing that they play the Dolphins next week followed by a bye week. Give Cassel another game against a half-ass team to get his confidence up and then use the bye week to work on the small things needed for the long passing game. They don't have a big opponent til week 6 when they play the Chargers. I think the game on MNF could be a really tough one, but i'm not quite sure

Yeah the MNF game against the broncs I am worried about. For some reason the broncs always give them trouble and without brady they will be really tough..
But in the past they seemed to give brady trouble, maybe cassel will have better luck with them.
I think they loose 3 out of 4 of those tough games you mentioned. thats going by what I see now out of the offense, that can change since this offense is a mystery right now.
