I unbolted it but the a/c compressor and clutch is in the way. Please tell me I don't have to take both of those off to get this thing out. I searched and found nothing other than "wiggle and it will come free". The part that goes to the crank is about two inches long and I don't see any way to get it out.

will it urn over, if it does check your fuel pump shut off swich in the trunk

yea its turning over it just wont fire...i checked that already too :( it wasnt popped up and I couldnt push it down, should I go mess with it some more? I seriously have no idea what else this could be. It stopped on me and started doing this while driving and hasn't started since...could it be the cam sensor? Is that something that would go bad while driving? I don't really want to keep replacing parts that I don't have to replace as I'm pretty tight on cash right now

edit: I also pressed down on the schrader valve on the fuel rail and gas shot out so theres some kind of pressurized fuel in there (hopefully this means its not the fuel pump)

just pull a wire and plug and put it near a ground. not the fuel rail tho. and if the cam sensor was bad it would still start. but check for spark, crank signal, fuel pressure, injector pulse, and worse comes to worse open the oil cap and see if the cams are turning while cranking.
