Assuming they could both hook, and they are both equally competent drivers; nitrous GT at the track.
The Vortech needs to build boost, nitrous comes on full force and will make more tourqe all across the board pretty much.
On the highway, the nitrous car would get the jump and get reeled in I would say. You are only supposed to spray for so long anyway, and spraying in 5th gear is ALOT of stress on the engine if you got up to those kinds of speed.
Still would be too close to call. Nitrous cars even with a full bottle will fall off slightly on the long end and a S/C car doesn't take long to get into the boost. Boost is basically a factor of RPM (spinning the blower) and load so once you get traction off the line you are in the boost and most Mustangs continue to build power past their rev limit so they never really fall off.
If you are looking for that clear cut answer it really won't happen because the nitrous car won't always win and neither will the S/C car. Really what it comes down to is pay me now (supercharger) or pay me later (bottle fills for nitrous).
