Tony Romo has never won a playoff game yet ESPN and everyone humps Dallas in general cause they have personalities that make good tv. Pac Man, TO, Romo is dating the hottest piece of ass for right now.

Its ok, just more of a thrill when they choke out early. Phillips said at halftime that the cold was a big reason Romo was ineffective. What a bitch.

:rlaugh: :rlaugh:

Altho Romo is from Wisconsin and said this weather didn't bother him, that it was "just another fall afternoon" :rlaugh: :D

Romo's a bitch and always will be. He'll amount to nothing but another over rated QB In the NFL.

As far as the late game on tonight Im just about ready to put the Ravens in the superbowl for the AFC.

If they make the playoffs, I don't doubt that they'd put a beat-down on the Jets and the Titans. Since that's who they'd most likely be playing if they were the #6 seed team.

They may not even make the playoffs. We'll see how next week goes with the Steelers vs Ravens game.

Hopefully the Steelers win and help the Pats out a little. We need the Ravens to drop at least 2 games between now and January so the Pats can sneak into the playoffs. :D

At this point I just want to see the best teams make the playoffs and I dont consider the patriots to be one of them. They struggled w/ a 2-10 team. I want the patriots to make the playoffs but on their own merits and by having someone else lose and sneaking them in through the back door. I always considered those teams to be the outcasts of the teams in the playoffs. We have teams like that every year of course and they always end up getting ousted early on. The patriots defense has just taken such a massive hit as far as injuries I just dont think they can compete w/ serious playoff caliber teams, the rosters only goes so deep. This was a game they should have easily won but did seattle play that good or has the patriots defense eroded that bad?

In all fairness to the Patriots (i can't believe i'm saying this). They have ALOT of their KEY players out. When you have injury destroy your team, of course the expectations fall. However the coaching staff over there in NE has done a mighty fine job with what talent they have to work with, and have put the pats in a playoff position. I commend that. :nice:

I hope Pitt beats the Ravens, I for one would much rather see another AFC East team in the playoffs than Baltimore, the Ravens are playing great right now. They are going to be a scary team for anyone in the playoffs and will beat whomever they play in the first round. Right now if the season ended Baltimore would play the Jets and Indy would play Denver in the wild card games. I would pick both wild card teams.

Hopefully Brady will be back in full form soon or you might fall off the wagon.

If he doesnt, you will hear find an earthquake around Boston when half the Pats fans jump off.

It is a good day, the cowgirls lost. Even though it was the Steelers that did beat them... The Pats won, the JETS suck, i mean lost. The Fins caught up, thats ok cause they play the Jets final week. If the pats win out, they will be in regardless. Then there was some amazing rookie play this week which is always exciting.

The coaching staff is what kept the patriots above .500 to this point and the veteran leadership on the team. That can only carry you so far and b/c of the injuries the talent they have to work with now will either keep them from making the playoffs or not lasting long if they get in.

Yes a win is a win and I was happy to see them win but then reality set in when I realized it was less and less likely that anything will come out of it. Id love to be completely wrong and have them go on and win the superbowl but that's not something i'm counting on

I agree with all of the above. It'd be nice to see them at least make the playoffs, just so people won't be saying Belichick is nothing without Brady (because that's not the truth, obviously).

As far as the playoff matches go.. I wouldn't mind seeing Indy/Pittsburgh and Ravens/Titans. I think those would be two great matchups; Colts/Steelers has already been played, but it was a great game and I think a rematch would be really good as well.

But, i'd loooove to see Pats/Jets in the first round of the playoffs in NY.. watch the Pats go up there and shut them down!! :D

That Cowboys/Steelers game was weird. Pittsburg scores to tie and with less than a minute Dallas gets the ball. I go to the bathroom and come back...game over and the score is 20-13. Took me a while to figure out what happened.

yea it would def be nice to watch the patriots get whooped up on by the old man.

The Jets defense has given up a ton of yards the past few games to terrible teams.. They were held UNDER 200 YARDS and were 1-10 on 3rd down against the crappy-ass 49er's. The Broncos laid a beat-down on them in NY and they still have to play Miami and Seattle; they'll lose at least 1 more game before the end of the season.

The Jets couldn't stop the Pats when they had a 24-6 lead, they should've shut the door and couldn't stop them for anything; they just got lucky in the 2nd half because Ben Watson dropped the ball for no reason when he was turning to run while the Pats were in scoring range. The Jets are fraudulent and won't make it past the first round of the playoffs, if they make it in at all.
