I am only posting this here because no one writes responses on the classifieds

I am looking for some advice, i bought a Roush shifter kit with arm and knob and I posted it in the classifieds, I have never used it and still packaged up. I am tyring to get some feedback because it is brand new and i am not sure what to ask for a price i Paid just over $400 at the dealer i expect to take some loss but what do these normally go for?

Can I ask why you're selling it? I shifted one at the Woodward Dream Cruise in a Roush 427R (parked)...and fell in love. I want one!

Alas, I don't have job, so I can't buy yours.

I know they are big $, as they sell all the parts separately. I would think you could get $350-375. I think I saw a "local shop" near me with a store on eBay...selling for about that price.

Nobody here (on the whole internet) seems to have any feedback about this shifter in their car.

I got laidoff and am not sure the future of my car so i would rather sell it and try to recoup some money.

Ahhh....

Sorry to hear about your laid off status. I was laid off Dec. 9. Merry Christmas! Happy New Year! LOL....

Yeah, losing your job really makes you think about where we put our money, especially if you're a car guy. If I get a job, I'm still wondering if I should put ANY money into the car this year.

I think I just might DRIVE it more. Like, across the country on Route 66. See America and it's past, in the event I may have to give up the Mustang at some point.

Hope you find work soon, my friend.

+1 to that,

I got laidoff Dec. 3rd
I actually had multiple interviews call me back and say they couldn't take me on due to corporate hiring freezes. which sucks because i knwo i have the skills they know they want me but "THE MAN" is sticking it to everyone.

lol
I honestly haven't opened the box it came in. I assumed it is white. Thats all they had on display at the parts counter and they never asked which color I wanted I just paid for it and took the box, It just says "retro knob" on the packing slip.
