Headlight Housing and HID Qs

Hi guys,

I'm really looking at HIDS for my car (specifically, the VVME kit). Price is not the issue since they are so cheap. The problem is that I feel I would be blinding everybody as I drove by them. Do you feel this is true? Do those with HID kids get flashed? If so, how often?

Thanks!
Matt

Those that don't have them say they are horrible. Those that do typically say that they haven't had any trouble with them, never/rarely flashed. Aim them down somewhat and it'll be fine. Don't overlook the ddmtuning kits. Shipping through VVME is crazy high, it's much more reasonable through ddmtuning. I know the price came out to be really close (few dollars cheaper through ddm) for me. Through ddmtuning, use the promo code ddm or hbf (think that's right).

what does the promo code get you?

shipping is $26 for DHL expedited global express

there isn't really any problems with them being "too bright", as stated just aim appropriately. After looking i see that ddm have good pricing as well, i'm not sure who is their supplier though, vvme is using HELLA.
i did a little research on ddm and see that there has been some problems with temp's in the past between all the brands they show.

I've been looking into HID's for a little while now and using projector lights rather than the stangs' stockers can also help the brightness & splay. Yea yea, everyone thinnks projectors are ricey, but if they help me see better to keep from hitting something and trashing the car then I can live with the so called rice housings.
