Pully question

Easiest to use an impact to get the crank bolt out - either that or a breaker bar with alot of leverage (try a piece of pipe over the handle)

I like the breaker bar technique, less stress on the bolt (that goes in your crank...). But I also have a jack handle that I put over my breaker bar to make it about 4 ft long:rolleyes:

Don't be surprised if the puller you rent doesn't work out of the box. The bolt wasn't long enough so I ended up having to modify a socket to fit inside of it to press up against it. I wasn't so thrilled. I'm just glad I don't have to take them off again .. :)

i rented the puller from AUTOZONE, and had zero issues with the install.
