- ahhh, to be young and stupid), if you set it up to run consistant 13's, it'll set ya into the 12's, and so forth. The real gains are in getting that power to the ground- half the battle is right there. My suspension was set up, and those M&H's, got out of the hole like it was rear ended by a train, 1.60+ 60 foots is the key. I had the spray(an old, seriously rudimentary kit, by todays standards) on the Hurst T handle thumb button, shot it soon as I got second(3.73's)
. Foxs want to be fast, we just have to teach them.
. Last carb I had had a 55 Chevy under it- long time ago! There isn't any reason it won't. Times are 90% wheel spin, or lack thereof- driving always counts. Speed is the car- and conditions. I set mine up to get out of the hole. Period. And, boy, would it. Thats where you win or lose, no matter, uh, what the venue is
! I didn't have a strut tower brace, or a front swaybar, had stock struts/springs, nothing works like Southside lowers, but the subframes shouldn't be much different. I did have 3.73's, and planted it with some nice M&H's, on about a thirty degree day, and a clean track. I didn't think it'd go that fast, or I woulda prepared better, or had better excuses when the safety guy came up to us with his questions
! No, you could very well run that good, and prolly will, but I don't wanna be the guy who says it'll run like an F-18, and if it turns up to be a Sopwith Camel, I'm more stupid than usual
!
