I was looking over the schematics for the message center switch and they are wired directly to the instrument cluster except for one wire that goes to the SJB for illumination. If you are the hack/mod type you should be able to make your own harness. Another option is to go to a bone yard and get the harness. I've had one person so far try this with success. You do have to splice into the ground wire and according to the schematic there is a splice point at S201 or you could tie into another ground. I already have mycolor so I didn't have to do this mod but thought there might be others who want to do this mod.

I get employee cost on the gauges and switch, and it goes for less than $300 total...here is the info i got...

"The part number for the cluster is 7R3Z-10849-GB
Switch is part number 4R3Z-10D889-AAA

You will need to take it to a dealer to get it flashed or it will beep at you when you go over 70 MPH. Thank you, Kenny"

I had mine upgraded to the 4 gauge/my color by a Ford dealership and it cost me $458 total, parts and labor. Works perfect. (I had the pigtale behind the dummy switch plate.) I mostly did it for the other two gauges and the message center, the My Color was a little icing on the cake. Glad I did it.

Yeah several people have the harness but if you don't have traction control you may be out of luck. I thought I would post so people who don't have the harness know there's an option for them. It takes a bit of work but if someone wanted it bad enough it's still not too bad. I personally have thought about upgrading to the GT500 cluster just because I wish the speedo and tach were swapped on mine. The non-working boost gauge is the only thing keeping me from it.
