Looks awesome man... Excellent work, & congrats for finally having her come back to life... Minus the wheels, I think she looks great. I always hated 96-98 Cobra wheels, even on my old 97 Cobra...

good job, now you can put it away for another 6 years to do the motor

:)

Might be true if i go the 4.6L DOHC route.

As much as i loved driving the car, i miss the 4.6L engine. It revved nicely, felt silky smooth and had a nice exotic exhaust note. I had the same Flowmaster cat-back on both cars and the 4.6L sounds much better (in car)

More and more i'm leaning towards a 4.6L swap. :)

I'm still gonna do my GT-40P's and TFS1 in the meantime

i just recently saw a brand new 03 cobra drive train still crated from ford on ebay for 10k

I have to be honest. I like the 96-98 Cobra wheels on Beans Cougar and also on Fox Notches and some GTs but not on a LX hatch.

Also Mike, you did say you are changingthe wing right?

I want to. As much as i like the Saleen wing, i kinda like the stock look now that these cars are getting up in age.

So at some point in the future, i will put a stock LX wing back on it.

I also want to do a stock fiberglass hood.

I have a Cobra grill insert...and not even sure if i want to install that

yeah i hear you, i have the same thought on one of my cars, i was just going to pick up a lincoln 4V motor and start building it up, then get a T56 have it all put together so i can take a couple weeks and just drop it in w/ a new k memeber.

or you can just buy a 96-97 cobra and leave the fox alone, you probably will be about 2k appart

Ever since SVT rebuild his 81 hackjob i've wanted to do a full 4.6 swap on my fox just like him.. interior, wires, everything. I just don't have the facilities to do the small but necessary fab work on the firewall/trans tunnel :(

Your car is looking sweet as heck though man nice work :nice:
