In Need of a Single Mach 460 Speaker

Getting some minor aches and pains taken care of on the car. Just realized that the front driver's little window Mach 460 speaker is out. Anyone know the least expensive place to pick up a replacement?

Be sure to get a Mach 460 speaker, not an aftermarket one. The Mach 460 speakers are also used as subwoofers - no aftermarket speaker can do the same in the system. You may want to look at eBay or your local CraigsList.

Ive tried those...anyone know if there is one of the "usual" aftermarket stang places that sell them?

To be honest Rob, the last time I had a Mach speaker go out, I went to Ford and they charge next to nothing for these speakers. No lie!

I got a friend from here sending me his old one.. should be ok. The FORD dealer wants $28, which is ok, but it has to be paid for up front, then ordered, then I have to make a second trip to pick it up, and it's not that close to me.

Well, thanks to Scot (Divit250r) for hooking a brother up! He sent me both speakers, and the first one I used worked fine..THANKS

FYI for anyone searching, I went to FORD, and they have a single speaker for $28, but it's a special order only, which means you have to pay first, then pick it up when it comes in.

ahhh, sounds about right though. My brother did the same thing when he picked up a door speaker for his Cadillac a few months ago, had to wait about 2 weeks and paid up front for it.

I replaced mine about 6 years ago, and perhaps I was just lucky because the dealership had them in stock

Either way, glad to see you got the replacements!

I had them for a few years and never even tried to hook them up, I'm just glad that it worked well for you!
