Im planning on getting a notch 4cyl and gutting it. adding sn95 dash and interior, and swaping to a 4.6 with a tork tech supercharger, cams and a 100 shot. Only think is im not sure what color would look bada$$ on a coupe. Anyone have any two tone coupes or cool painted ones they would like to share, so it will help me decide? Also any info on the 5.0 to 4.6 will gladly be helpful since I cant find much info on here.

Put the 100 shot plans on hold, this is all the power you'll need

do a search for svt32vdohc. he did a project we called "hack job". Took an 83 (i think 83 or 84) coupe and swapped it with all 2001 parts. Engine, trans, rear, interior, ABS, everything. It was basically a 2001 mustang in an 83 shell.. SO bad ass

If you're going to go through all the work to swap a mod motor into the coupe. Don''t do it with a 2 valve.

You can pick up aviator longblocks for a really good price if the money difference is what is stopping you.

I just bought a 93 4 cyl for 500 bucks, five speed in working condition. the interior is in great shape and the outside is straight, but missing some trim. The car is primered, which i kinda like rather than an old deteriorating paint job.

I just found a wrecked 91 ssp car and a 91 gt for 900 bucks, so let the conversion begin . :)

Its gonna be a junkyard dog, with gt40 heads etc..

The most i would pay for is around 1200-1500 but it would not need any real work to body or interior.

Depends on how the roller was, ive found a few real clean ones for 1000 bucks, just make sure there isnt any rust, jack it up and look at the floors if you have to, if the seller isnt comfortable with you doing this then walk away from it and keep looking.

There was a 86 i found a month ago with full UPR front suspension and a good 8.8 rear, that sold for 1000, i was pretty pissed i missed that one
