Has this ever been done? I know there are members all over the country, neighbors to the north, and the islands of Hawaii, but it would be cool to find a neutral location where members could gather to run their pride and joys, meet members and their families, and have a great time. A race park with road course and drag strip would be ideal. I have been a member for a short while, so I don't know if this has been done in the past. I'm looking at a foot of snow in my driveway so trailering my car somewhere warm to run it a bit would be great for ME and my car. Any ideas or thoughts?

I tried to have people come out to Englishtown for a big Ford race last year or the year before. Posted about it for weeks, there are a TON of members in the NJ area, and two showed up.

Good luck, but everyone is into it, until they have to actually make it happen.

there isnt a whole lot of people too serious about racing on this site, and this site has a ton of people spread out all over the counrty, i think its a good idea, but it would definitly be alot of work.

Thats one of the things i would do if i hit that 300million dollar jack pot, have all my friends from here ship their cars out for a week long Stangnet meet where we could all hangout and race our cars, one day it'll happen

5 or 6 years ago there was a stangnet.com vs. ls1.com at Montgomery Motorsports Park in Montgomery, AL. Almost 100 cars showed up. It was a blast.

I would love to do something like that again. Would be willing to drive a little ways, too. Just need time to replace my tired motor...lol.

Years back, the NorCal (Bay Area) guys set up a bunch of meets/cruises. Track days are tough, for some reason. If I were going to set up an event, I'd start with a meet, and maybe a cruise. This way, you can determine how many people you can get to show up.
