Rim Opinions

I was thinking about going with these rims on my black 99 gt, they're deep dish cobra R's. I love deep dish, and these for some reason seem like theyre going to really look good on my car. I know Cobra R is a pretty common rim, but i havent seen many mustangs with DD cobra r's so i thought it would be a nice change. Any opinions.

i like their prices im looking at the saleen wheels they have them for 4 wheels and tires for like 900 shipped. the thing is that they got 18x9 wheels and the tires are 245 width. i was wondering if the tires are not wide enough and if they would look weird. i wonder if they can throw on some 255 width tires on there for some extra money im not sure tho. these guys have great deals though OE Wheels LLC.

Excellent company. Prices are great, fit and finish is flawless, and they balanced out perfect. I got my DD Bullitts from there. Ended up being 460 bucks or so shipped to my door in 3 days. HIGHLY recommend them.

Thanks for the information im glad to hear theyre a good company to buy from, im most likely going to buy them by mid january hopefully. Lower it in the beginning of february if things go as planned.

i didn't buy them yet i want to get 245 up front and 315 in the rear which isnt what they provide so i might just end up buying those rims and tires seperately.

i dunno man if you get 245 wide tires on a 9 inch wheel they will look ****ty i think, the wheel will stick out more than the tire. i wonder if anyone on here has pics with 9 inch wide wheels and 245 wide tires

I run 245's on my 9's up front, doesn't look bad at all in my opinion. Never was much on a beefy front tire.

I'm currently running 275's on the rear, but that's only temporary. They are entirely too narrow for the 10.5's.

i have 245 on my stock 99 rims right now, and they dont look bad they look normal.
245's are perfect for 9 inch rims, IMO, but i wish i went 275 out back.

I think these wheels would look really nice on your mustang.
These wheels are definitley different and the price is very good.
Some people how purchase wheels off eBay have a issue with
the quality of the aftermarket wheel.Just make sure you purchase
through a reputable company that's all.

Thanks man I am aware of the issues but someone earlier in the thread posted some info about the company saying they are good to work with and legit with good customer service, so that helps me in my decision.
Thanks i will definetly post up some pictures as soon as i get them, and the price is right

I've got them on my car and really like them. Funny story really, i originally ordered black dd bullits and they sent me the cobra r's instead and I ended up keeping them. Plus they gave me a 100$ credit.

Very nice they look great on your car. IMO white is the only color that pulls off black rims.

At times I wish mine was white. It's such a clean look.
