I have had my 73 coupe for almost 10 years and there is personal value to it as I built it with my father who past away a couple years ago. I will never sell the car, although it is not my prefered body style. There is a local guy who has an entire Mach roof section from A pillars to rear of trunk. I am looking for thoughts, advice, input. I know this is popular with 67-68 these days.
I am fairly competent with welding/fabrication work. I am also building this as a street/strip car so I am not too worried about interior fitment with a back seat and panels. And I am aware that pretty much all of the glass will need to be switched out.
So am I crazy or is this a sane thought? I feel confident this is possible but could be wrong.

. I'll post it tonight if I can find the cord, but if not I'll take another tommorow. I didn't want to take the whole rear section apart because the headliner would need to come off, but the picture shows the basic setup of the bracing. Sorry it took so long
