So I saw that the Steelers made Dennis Dixon the starting QB, after Leftwich got hurt, over Charlie Batch.
I don't get it- Dixon was the third stringer last year and he played in like one game? Batch has been proven to be good when he subbed for Ben, I mean he finished quite a few games. Why not let him be the starter? He's definitely got more experience than Dixon. I don't get it.

My team is not the best anymore.. But they sure have done a hell of a lot more in recent years then the vikepackjestfarves
BTW are you even old enough to remember 1997? I mean REALLY remember it... being 6 and playing with your tonka trucks during the game does not count. 1997 was WAY back when the SB was played in January.. Those were the good old days of non HDTV and dial up internet and your team winning a SB.. Too Bad you were too young wes.. 1997 was a good year
Wes I have got to enjoy my teams winning championships many times this past 10 years.. I think it should be your turn wes so you too can experience a winner.. it is Awesome when a team you rooted for your entire life finally wins it.. I hope the vikes or the pack wins it if the pats dont...

Because he has proven to the coaching staff in training camp and pre season that he gives them the best chance to win. I thought he should have been starting ahead of Leftwich anyway. I've heard from my old neighbor (Quinn Gray - Former Chiefs QB) that used to play with him, that he was a complete dick.

Well my team (Vikes) have NEVER won a superbowl, EVER. We've had plenty of chances but pro. sports teams from MN tend to choke during playoff/important games. Which is why I am hoping this year is finally the year. Especially since the rumor mill about them being transferred to LA is getting louder and louder. As a lifelong fan I would never be able to cheer for the LA Vikings.

in 1997 i was actually 10 years old and yes i sat and watched the SB the way my house was growing up if the packers was playing then we was watching it.
the patriot hate actually is more to get a rile out of u guys then anything i mean id rather see the pats win then the colts,giants,browns,saints,or bears.

my team is and always will be GB but as long as favre is playin im rooting for the old man.
Why do you dislike the browns? just curious because the others make sense and that one sticks out a bit.
I dislike the Jets and the colts. But I much rather see the colts win the superbowl for 100 years straight then see the jets even play in one SB.
I am ok with the rest of the NFl. Even the giants..

my reasons for not liking the browns is because of the way the NFL built the team again after it left for baltimore in the late 90's it was pretty much paul tagliabues team he made and then the NFL sold it for over 500 million dollars and they rejoined the league as a expansion team. the way the rebuild was handled still doesn't set right with me and thats the reason i hate the browns.
