As it was mentioned before...purchase a bottle of engine flush. Follow the directions on the bottle then change your oil. That "should" fix your problem.
If the Dist. is installed corectly then it's engaging the pump and you are seeing oil pressure so it's doing something. I just think with that many miles there is a quite a bit of sludge on the bottom of that pan.
