Hey...post up your teams rivalries. I know there are the obvious such as Michigan/Ohio St and Texas/Oklahoma. I'm interested in seeing the games you guys circle each year.
LSU used to have a pretty heavy rivalry with Ole Miss in the 50's-70's. Still is one of those games where no matter where the other one falls in the win/loss record it turns into a dog fight. It's kind of waned over the last 15-20 years because LSU has dominated the series but there is no love lost between the fans. I work LSU games and the Ole Miss game is where I'm guaranteed to have to break up 2-3 fights after going the whole year with none.
The others are in our division in the SEC West. Alabama because it took 25 years and a coaching change by LSU to finally get a win in the 80's and it has taken on a bigger status when Saban took over at Bama. While most fans were OK with Saban heading to the NFL no one was real happy when he went to Alabama...because it was a West rival and LSU fans know what "Little Nicky" is capable of.
Auburn is another because of some bad blood between the two schools. In 1999 Auburn dominated LSU 7-41 in Tiger Stadium and after the game Coach Tommy Tuberville of Auburn gave players cigars which they mock smoked on the field. In the return to LSU in '01 the game was delayed due to the September 11th attacks. Game day comes and Auburn was doing their pregame warm-ups. Afterward several players met at the "Eye of the Tiger", the LSU logo at midfield, and began stomping on it bringing down a chorus of boos. The "Cigar Game" had been played up all week. When the teams came out for kick off the refs threw a flag for unsportsmanlike conduct. First time I'd ever seen a penalty
before a game started. Since then there have been some pretty memorable finishes to LSU/Auburn games.
Florida is in the SEC East but as fate would have it we play them every year. There rest of the SEC East we rotate among the other 5 teams. It always seems to come down to that game as pivotal in LSU's quest for a national title. In 2003 it was LSU's only loss of the season and in 2007 it took 4 successful 4th down plays to win. It was also the 1st time I'd ever seen a stadium completely go bananas, on both sides, when the USC/Stanford score was announced during a TV timeout. USC lost and it meant the winner of this game would be #1 since LSU was 2 and Florida was 5 in the BCS.

Both sidelines where jumping around and the whole stadium, LSU and Florida fans alike, were screaming.
