"unofficial" 2010 NCAA Football thread

Same thing that happened to USC. They vacate the wins and lose the national title they won when Bush played.

Rumor has it the NCAA may suggest suspending him today.
Auburn should do the right thing and leave Newton in the locker room.

It is obvious that Newton's Dad broke NCCA rules. It's possible that Auburn was involved. The FBI will find out the facts.

War Dam Criminals.

So the SEC Championship game is going to have two coaches who are both UF alumni, but neither who coach UF. Hah! That sucks!

UF really needs to quit with this bullsheet "loyalty" in terms of who plays. Sure, I respect John Brantley, and I thought he was going to do well this year, but he just doesn't cut it. Our team is not built for a drop back passer (this is NOT Spurrier's team from '96), and Brantley just can't fill the role. Reed has done a much better job in his limited action at QB. Why he is not our starting/main QB? Who knows. They're still calling him a freaking TE! If this doesn't change soon, I see more "Ls" for UF in the future... UGH!

I'm a big AU fan from here on out, though. I grew up one (both parents went to AU), and only changed due to going to school at UF. So, it is what it is, but GO AU!

I sooo don't want them to bench Cam.

I watched Newton for the first time last Saturday. He is a very good professional player.

Unfortunately, he is supposed to be an amateur player (we already know he is a crook). He once played for UF and ran into a lot of trouble and was sent packing (he stole a laptop then threw it out his dorm window when confronted by the police). Blinn College offered him a job and then TN tried to hire him before Auburn's offer beat Mississippi State's offer.

I predict that Alabama will beat Auburn before South Carolina wins the SEC championship. Then Auburn will forfeit all of their wins this year after the FBI completes its investigation.

I don't care about Auburn.. just didn't want to see UGA win and get the rednecks all excited

I agree. The Alabama Polytechnic Institute is certainly a college in Alabama where those go that can't be accepted to the Univ. of Alabama.

Yes, we are rednecks. But the nomenclature is not something that offends us.

We work hard. We discovered the Balantidium coli.

Auburn guys (the chicks are very cute) possess symptoms of balantidiasis which vary from fulminating, sometimes fatal dysentery or profuse diarrhea to an essentially asymptomatic carrier state within the broad spectrum of amoebic colitis.

Once Auburn admits their mistake (and the sooner the better), LSU should fight South Carolina for the SEC championship, and the right to play against Oregon for the National Championship.

I'm not referring to the actual students as the rednecks, it's the sidewalk Alumni. You know the ones with big old 4x4 trucks that haven't been washed in years with the faded G logo (which I thought was odd that there were so many Green Bay Packer fans when I first moved here :)) that most likely didn't even finish HS

I had never even heard of Auburn until I moved here (5 years ago), but several of my coworkers are from there. I drive through there a few times a year

btw, after watching the War Tigers and the Crimson Terds duke it out today, is there any doubt that either team could beat any non-SEC team in the top 10 right now???
