I just parted out a 90 mustang that I had and found the unlikely prize of a JET in-line chip in it that I didn't realize the previous owner had put in. I was wondering....can this be re-programmed and installed in my 95? It says "92 Mustang Manual" on it and that's what the part number lines up with too, but the car is 90 AOD, and didn't get a T5 till I had converted it. Anyhow, main question is....will it fit in the 95 and can it be re-programmed?

No JET chips are off the shelf chips , designed for specific cars if its says 92 Manual then it should work on any 89-93 5.0 5 speed car , advice , ebay it

The main difference with an A9L vs A9P is the off-idle timing curve (the P has more to accommodate the converter). The A9* puter itself doesn't know which trans is connected to it however.
