No it completely defeats the purpose of the firewall adjuster. The whole point of the firewall adjuster is that the point of adjustment is shifted from the stock mechanism to just solely being at the firewall. Therefore you can set the adjustment and it won't have to adjust and move ever again. If you kept the stock quadrant you now have two points of adjustment- this makes your clutch cable worthless to adjust because you now have a fight between two devices and defeats the purpose of the firewall adjuster. Every adjustment you would make would be jacked up in the fight between the two devices and the clutch will be unpredictable. Buy an appropriate aftermarket quadrant if you are going to install a firewall adjuster.
