So guys im possibly going to be getting rid of the car and i need some suggestions on what will help it sell if i decide to let it go. A few weeks back i decided to go shopping for a nice daily driver since putting 50 miles a day on this car was killing me in gas. I am literally getting gas every other day and the sad thing is is that i drive the highway every day to go to work..
my plan was to get a nice DD and set this car aside and put it in race car form. I started a nice wire tuck, and a weight loss program as well. I have pulled a good amount of weight out of the car to get the gas mileage back for dding it but it still isnt a great daily street car.
So anyway, in my hunt i came across a 2010 Evo X. never in a million years did i think i would even come close to owning this car but with some haggleing i ended up getting the car for a very damn good price. This car is completely amazing, with 16k miles and a FULL 10 year 100k mile bumper to bumper warranty i coulnd get a better deal.
now heres the thing. after a few weeks of driving this car i have come to realize that the evo out performs my mustang in all categories of driving.. as built as my mustang is, it just doesnt compare to the evo imo.
heres where i need help. Im not too sure of what a reasonable price would be to ask for this car and there are a few interior items that im not sure if i should sell the car with. The main thing being that i have a harness bar with harnesses in the car. the standard belts are still in the car and fully functional but i dont know if i should pull the bar out or leave it in. Will that kill the sale a little bit do you think. also i have a rear seat delete in the car as well. should i sell it with the seats in or out of the car? i have the rears with all hardware in my spare room in the closet so theyre about brand new looking as well. im just not sure in which for the car would be better to sell in. any help would be great.
ive had this car for about 5 years and id hate to get rid of it but im thinking maybe its time to let it go. i still absolutely love the car but im thinking parting ways may be whats best for now.. i think im going to leave it in the garage for about a month before i really decide to sell it and see what its like to not drive it for a month to help me decide. mustangs have been my passion but here lately, ive just been getting less and less interested in looking at them or talking about them. it may be the fact that at work its all about mustangs and maybe im just getting burned out with mustang because im around them all day everyday.. who knows..
any advise on selling her would be greatful and thanks in advance guys and gals :SNSign:
