Umm gas pedal is on the floor from launch to finish.

well, yes, power shifting isn't good for the drivetrain. If you want to be nice to the car, then let off the gas and take it easy between shifts. But if you want a little quicker time at the track and are willing to accept the eventual repairs, then keep on power shifting. Personally, I've replaced several shift forks and got the tranny rebuilt in the process, as well as some fresh bearings in the rear end. Was worth it though.

I've heard many times about the stock forks breaking from power shifting. I shift hard but let of between shifts.

Yep every saterday. I run in the modified class
This is my second 3650. The original lasted 4 years of track abuse before I messed it up. Still haven't torn it apart to see what exactly. The current one I picked up in Aug or Sept 2008 and has worked pretty good to date.

On motor I do not let out of the gas when I shift. I havent yet grown the balls to powershift on the 150 shot. I figure by the end of the year, I will go ahead and powershift it on the spray and see what it does.
What year is it from? My 3650 has all the revised parts in it but im still scared to rag on it.

ive been powershifting for 98000 miles now still on my stock factory clutch but the trans grinds now when going into 3rd 
but that could also be my clutch about to take a dump too

I care for my drivetrain and have doubts about my stock 3650 so I don't powershift. I just shift fast as crap and let off the gas. Tires still spin half way through second anyway. Sucks.

I just press and hold the gas while going down the track. What is this "shifting" you guys are talking about?

Whenever I have I put my foot on the loud pedal and shift as fast as I can. Ive only power shifted a few times in my car and the last couple of times and I found that I miss 3rd gear a lot... Im guessing its time to replace the stock clutch at 97,000 miles...

Yes, TCI linlock I have setup between master cylinder and proportioning block. Button on shifter controls linelock/2step.
Current one I think is out of a '01. Was told when I bought it that is was rebuilt at 30k miles and I got it at 60k miles. Put 19k miles on it since. I can say street wise the original 3650 shifted smoother no matter what I was doing. This one is little notchy on the street but has worked near flawlessly at the track.
Broken trans, broken rear housing. I don't think twice about it just let it rip and when it breaks I get out and laugh as I know it was bound to happen.

i beat the snot out of my t45, it has near 120k miles on it, it will power shift at 6000rpm, but it wont at 7000k, it just grinds

How mush does it cost to rebuilt a 3650. I messed something up last weekend racing and was considering getting it redone anyway.
OK, I thought so. You were so smooth when cleaning your tires, opposed to me dancing all over the pedals last weekend. lol
