Weekend in the garage coming up.

A few months back we bought my wife a really nice 51,000-mile LX. As is very often the case with a low mile Fox, the original radiator is quite sludged up. Owning three 93's has it's advantages in that it allows the ability to mix and match parts. When I got my Saleen with 16,xxx miles, the radiator on that car had the same problem and I put in a brand new 3-row copper/brass radiator 3 years ago. Since my plan for that car is a Vortech within the next 12 months, I ordered a Griffin aluminum unit that I'm going to put in the Saleen. The 3-row out of there is going into my wife's car. Along with that, I have an original 93 Cobra intake with an Accufab 65mm throttle body and 76mm C&L MAF to wake things up a little bit. She's also getting a fresh set of FRPP silicone hoses and a pair of "Mustang - Powered by Ford" valve covers.

It's going to be a good weekend in the garage. I'll take some pictures as I go.

Actually, I really enjoy working on my Mustangs. It's a very Zen-like thing for me. Nuts, bolts, parts... They all go together one way. I enjoy taking it apart, putting it back together, turning the key and having it work better than it did before. I've done enough radiators, intakes and valve covers that it's all cake to do. The biggest factor in making it enjoyable is that I don't have to drive the car the next day. If I get tired, I can stop. If I don't have the right part and the store is closed, no big deal. I've got other cars to drive.

The beer fridge is full and a couple of friends may stop by. It will be a good weekend.

haha sounds fun man. I agree that I enjoy working on my car as well. Although not everything is always "fun" and enjoyable to do, I'll still get home from work at 9pm and go straight outside to work on my car. My brother thinks im crazy and says "You just come in and go straight back out again, no rest?" I guess some people dont realize that it's relaxing and soothing to be in peace in the garage working on the car for some people. Obviously its not fun to be under a car fighting with a rack and pinion or something of the sort, but if you take your time, and are patient, working on your car can be very peaceful. I also find that when you do things the right way you get a VERY satisfying feeling when you finish a project.

I'm the same way, I truly enjoy working on my car 98% of the time...we all know everyone gets frustrated or pissed off from time to time when things aren't working the way you want them to!

yeah its real satisfying, to build a car and then, you smash the t5 in the first 10 miles lol. then come back and say, damn it sounds good! or man it was pulling so damn hard before it broke

I am a Line Cook for Frickers Restraunt chain here in Ohio. So after making food all day it's nice to replace fryer grease with Mustang Grease....

It's soothing to my soul. I love my car.

I'm working on the car every weekend. Only times I'm not are for events and vacations.

Last night I drilled my TFS valve covers for breathers. Going to replace these Edelbrock breathers for the K&N filter ones. Aeuromotive fuel pressure reg., check. UPR 4" Power Pipe will be installed tomorrow with 90MM MAF. Also have UPR quadrant and firewall adjuster to do.

Very Nice I'll be looking for more photos!!!! I am itching to get back in the garage myself. There is nothing like going to a meet and when someone ask's the question who did that you can say your self with a since of pride and accomplishment. Not to mention the peace and quiet of working on the car itself aside from a few curse words from smaking knuckles!
