I've been thinking about doing it for a long time, but was focused on other stuff (engine, suspension, etc...). I bit the bullet today and ordered the parts I want to finish out the look of my LX:
- Saleen 90-93 front bumper
- 93 Cobra wing
- cervini part 4300 side skirts (not sure if they're saleen or other, but they aren't cobra side skirts)
- CDC grill delete (like the one on the stangnet's project car)
I'm curious to know if a heat extractor hood would fit over my TFS-R Box upper intake. I like the hoods and want to try one out, but they're almost $700, and I'd prefer to know before I get one shipped. Anyone have any experience with that?
I also bought some minor stuff from UPR to make some minor improvements:
- radiator support
- Weather stripping kit
- Climate control knobs (two-tone billet black & Silver with a green pointer)
- an "Eject" cigarette lighter
- Some black floor mats (I'd eventually like to change the dash, carpet, and center console to black
- New shift boot and bezel
- 6-speed shift knob (one day I'll get a built 6-speed to go with it)
- Ash-tray switch plate
There's still a long way to go, but getting these parts together makes me feel like I'm taking another step in the right direction.
